Top-tour in Romsdal

This weekend we went for some top-tour in Romsdal. A beautiful area for top-tour and freeride, where the mountains rise out from the fjord.
We had two nice trips.
First day driving from Oppdal, we arrived in Åndalsnes and started the trip around 12. Amazing for Italian top-tour style, but here we are in Norway and it is usually more convening starting a bit later to find better snow conditions.
The goal for the first trip was Loftskarstinden, to meet some other friends there. However we had to change our goal and aimed to Galtåtind.


We met our friends anyway, because the two tops are connected through a traverse. We met in between and started our descent from there. It was initially quite steep and scary for me but I manage to get down. The snow was not the best but we enjoyed the day very much.

Yesterday we went for another trip to Blånebba. This time we started a bit earlier. In front of us a group of 5 people preparing the track for us ;-)

It was foggy, but once we got to the top it cleared up. It was beutiful to be up there, beautiful surroundings and nice friends!

Then we started descending, the snow was powder! So we went up again! Beautiful day! Great snow!


These were just a few pictures I took with my mobile, more maybe will come. Most of the guys had big camera with them. One of them has a pretty nice website, but picture will come sometime after Easter. But there is planty of more pictures to enjoy there ;-)

-8 and shorts

Sometime I do not understand how people in Norway can manage to go around with short pants, or T-shirts when outside is freezing?!

Take for example today, this morning was -8 degrees Celsius, -2 now (based on yr.no) and I have just met 3 different people going around in shorts. I know in the sun the temperature is nice, but is that enough?

Inspiration

Almost every morning I start my day checking my favorite blogs (foodblogs, interior blogs, etc.)

Lately I have discover a blog called Mrs.O, is a blog about Michelle Obama. She has style! Very good taste in the way she dress but most importantly she has style in inspiring people.
Yesterday posts (here and here) were about the celebration for Women's History Month, Mrs.O gave some speeches (see video). On about first women doing something, like first woman in space. She said that first women managed to get there because of hard work, determination and belief in one self.

May her words be inspiration to many of us!

É cambiata stagione

É cambiata stangione da un po' e le foglie autunnali del titolo non andavano piú bene.
Si é vero l'inverno giunge al termine, ma intanto qui a TRD nevica ancora!
E allora facciamo risaltare quant'era bella Bakklandet coperta di neve in una bella giornata di sole!
Sperando che il sole arrivi presto!

I have saved Pioneer Woman Cooks blog in my bookmarks as food blog a while ago.
I like her way of presenting a recipe, a picture for each step. American style cooking. I like some of her recipes too!

But today I have discover that her blog is much more than that!

Just because it was Friday 13th?...

Friday was a long day; big meeting and after that another, shorter one.

Then finally I took a break, when out looking for a piece of cake or just something sweet, but the university cafe and canteen were closed and we just arrived in front of the shop when it was closing time. So we decided to try with the automatic machine...do I have to tell you?
It took our money and no sweet in return.

I could not access my email account and as I was walking home I accidentally dropped my phone!
Then this morning I realized that all the pictures on the phone are gone and it does not recognize the memory stick inside

Was just because it was Friday 13th?!

Questa mimosa era tutta fiorita, quasi sfiorita, nel Par Guell a Barcellona l'altra settimana.

Mi é venuta in mente la mimosa che Rita aveva nel suo giardino. Era enorme e ce ne regalava sempre qualche ramo quando era in fiore. C'erano sempre qualche pianta in fiore nel giardino di Rita.

Barcellona...

Siam tornati, da un paio di giorni...
Barcellona é sempre bella! Gaudí ed i suoi palazzi!
