É cambiata stangione da un po' e le foglie autunnali del titolo non andavano piú bene.
Si é vero l'inverno giunge al termine, ma intanto qui a TRD nevica ancora!
E allora facciamo risaltare quant'era bella Bakklandet coperta di neve in una bella giornata di sole!

Trondheim, la neve ed il sole
Dopo la neve caduta la notte di venerdí, sabato ci siamo alzati ed abbiamo spalato neve. Poi la luce era cosí bella che abbiamo fatto un giro verso il centro ed abbiamo fatto un qualche foto.

Che spettacolo!
Sta mattina il termometro segnava -10.4! Non male!
Ma lo spettacolo che si presentava ai miei occhi sta mattina era davvero mozzafiato.
Alberi cristallizzati...
...ed un mare di nebbia sulla cittá.
Sono arrivata in ufficio e le mie gambe mi parevano due calippo, ma é un piacere poter iniziare bene la giornata!
Buona giornata a tutti!

"Umbria i Toscana"
Ieri sono stata alla disputas di un collega (cioé alla cerimonia di chiusura di un dottorato di ricerca).
La sera sono stata invitata alla cena. Abbiamo mangiato in un ristorante di Trondheim dove non ero mai stata, To Rom og Kjøkken (che letteralmente tradotto "Due Stanze ed una Cucina"). Bella atmosfera. Abbiam mangiato bene, nulla di straordinario ma buono. Il menu viene deciso a seconda dei prodotti freschi del giorno.
Come giá mi era capitato un paio di altre volte il menú ed i vini vengono annunciati prima di iniziare la cena o prima di ogni portata.
Il primo prevedeva una zuppa di molluschi e granchio reale (Skalldyr suppe med kongekrabbe) accompagnato da un Riesling tedesco. E fin qui tutto bene.
Come secondo: vitello servito con verdure, becon e patate accompagnato da un vino rosso (85% san giovese), provenienza Umbria in Toscana! mmm...UMBRIA IN TOSCANA!?!
Anche i norvegesi sono rimasti sorpresi. Allora la cameriera ha spiegato che visto che non tutti sanno dov'é l'Umbria allora dicono che sta in Toscana, visto che comunque sono una vicina all'altra!
Povera Umbria!
Poi abbiamo concluso la cena con creme brulee e caffe.

New Artwork in Realfag bygget
The other day coming to work, I passed through one of the campus building called Realfag bygget, and saw a new artwork displayed. Its name is "En annen hverdag".
It is pretty big, it spans over two floors! And it is made my smaller tiles (I tried to take a picture when I got closer)
A few days later I went to read the explanation of the work.
It is the outcome of a project in the course AAR 4570/4890 in Visual Communication.
One of the goals of the course was that the students had to physically work on the presentation of an idea, a concept or similar and develop an independent mindset connected with the originating process (studentene skal "arbeide fysisk med presentasjon av en idé, et konsept eller lignende og utvikle en selvstendig tankegang i sammenheng med skapende prosesser").
The project needed to have some social and contemporary relevance.
The students focused on the intoxication abuse to bring attentiont to a problem the society does not speak so much about.
The picture measures 6 x 5.5 meter and consits of 12 wool blankets. Their intent is that these 12 blankets will be donated to provide a warm resource to some of Trondheim's abuser in these cold winter days.
Not just an artwork, but an object produced as the outcome of a learning process and as a resource for other. A multipurpose object.

Kayak: rolling training
This summer when we were in Stokkøya, we tried sea kayaking. The first few minutes were a bit anxious, but then we really enjoyed it :)
So at the beginning of the semester, when a friend asked me to join her, I thought of taking a sea-kayak course organized by one of the student groups at NTNU, the padling group.
Unfortunately I was not quick enough to sign up in time for that (21 persons signed up during the first 4 seconds!!)
However, my friend C. managed to get in and now she can borrow equipments for two persons ;-)
During November and December, the padling group organizes training in the swimming pool. It is much better to roll in water that is not freezing. One feels more comfortable in the swimming pool than in the fjord!
So, last week I was the second (after my friend C.) to sign up for kayak rolling training. We went there Wednesday evening. It was TOUGH! We first warmed up our arms and shoulders, then the hips, then it was time for flipping down and try to get out of the kayak. Then finally, it was the turn for the rolling training! Gosh, it is tough!
I felt pain on muscles I was not even aware of! My brother and L. were joking about it during the weekend in Belgium ;-)
Then this morning I noticed there are still places available for another training this week! But I am not even sure I want to do it again...
Anyway I have also find some videos, here for example. They make it look like it is so easy!
It is hard! Believe me!

Autunno in universitá
Come anticipato ecco alcune foto che ho scattato ieri in universitá.
É arrivato l'autunno a Trondheim e con il vento che c'é stato nel fine settimana, i colori autunnali sulle piante potrebbero durare per poco.
Quindi meglio cogliere l'occasione al volo visto che ora posso farlo ;-)
Giá, era tempo di cambiare il telefono e se non ci avesse pensato L. a comprarmene uno chissá quanto ci avrei messo io.
