Preparativi per una cena piemontese

Sabato sera abbiamo invitato alcuni amici, amanti della cucina e dei vini italiani, a cena.
Una cena piemontese!

Per il dolce avevo pensato ad un bel bonet, ma visto che uno dei nostri ospiti é allergico al cioccolato...ho optato per una pannacotta!

Beh poi magari saranno piú versioni.
Intanto sta sera ho preparato:
- pannacotta con caramello
- pannacotta da servire con una salsa di frutta
- pannacotta allo zafferano!!

Prima volta che preparo pannacotta. Prima volta che uso una stecca di vaniglia. Prima volta che preparo il caramello. E prima volta che provo lo zafferano in un dolce!

Solo a pensarci mi viene l'acquolina! Ma dobbiamo aspettare e lasciare raffreddare!

p.s. Per la pannacotta allo zafferano ho usato la ricetta che mi stuzzicava da un po' di Cucina I Love You
Per la normale pannacotta ho fatto un mix di varie versioni e mi sono adattata alla panna che mi era rimasta (133 ml di panna; 133 ml latte; 50gr zucchero - ma forse é fin troppo; 2 fogli di gelatina; mezza stecca di vaniglia e 2 cucchiai di zucchero per il caramello).

C'é qualcuno che usa altre ricette per la pannacotta?

Why May is special in Norway

May it's pretty special in Norway!

Spring has officially started and temperature are usually rising, the sun is warmer and the days are getting longer.

But May is particular also for two other reasons. Here comes a preview.

Russ partying (most of the time) and going around singing, whistling and doing crazy things just before their exam, that is anyway after the 17th May.


But in particular May is special because of 17.Mai
I have talk about it in a post last here and I posted some pictures
Here I would like to let you know that for me May is also nice because band are going around rehearsing and creating such a cheerful mood for everyone around, here what I have captured yesterday ;-)

Dolci!!!!!

Sí sí! Oggi dopo aver visto tante ricette di dolci su Gambero Rosso, letto ricette su riviste e blog mi sono decisa e mi toglieró presto un po' di voglia di dolci cremosi e anche un po' guduriosi.

Oggi abbiamo preparato il tiramisú da portare alla cena a casa di B.V. cui siamo invitati. La ricetta me la sono fatta passare da mio fratello. Non vedo l'ora di assaggiarlo!

Poi nel pomeriggio mi sono lanciata pure a fare le merighe! La ricetta e tante altre utili informazioni le ho trovate qui sul blog di Scienza in cucina. Ed ho pure scoperto che L. ne va pazzo! Ecco come apparivano prima dell'infornata!

Toptour in Italy and Norway

Since Easter we have been doing few toptour trips (both in Italy and in Norway) that I would like to talk about, but due to lack of time I still have to postpone it.

I may just anticipate that we have been in Jotunheim, up to Galdhøpping (2469m), the highest top in Norway. Not really high considering the Alps standards. For the ones familiar with Biellese, it is like a Mucrone (see below) but with glacier around ;-)
